Acer Officially Announces Acer Iconia Smart – Runs Gingerbread OS & Powered by 1 GHz Snapdragon Processor

Acer just announced Acer Iconia Smart Android smartphone at MWC 2011 event in Barcelona Spain.

Acer Iconia Smart is an Android-based smartphone. It runs Android 2.3 OS Gingerbread and powered by 1GHz Snapdragon processor. It features a 21:9 widescreen display, 4.8″ big with 1024×480 pixels resolution. 

This smartphone also equipped with 8 MP camera autofocus with (3264×2448 pixels) resolution, it’s camera has features Geo-tagging, face and smile detection, image stabilization.

From the connectivity side, it supports GPRS, EDGE, 3G (HSDPA, 14.4 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps), Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n, UPnP, DLNA), Bluetooth (v2.1 with A2DP, EDR) and microUSB v2.0.

Other features include ; TFT capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors, 8 GB storage, 512 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, microSD up to 32GB. Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic, SNS integration, HDMI port, Google Search, Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Google Talk, Picasa integration, MP3/WAV/WMA/eAAC+ player, etc..
