We have a good news for those of you Samsung I9000 Galaxy S owners who live in India. Samsung India has confirmed via their twitter account that Samsung I9000 Galaxy S smartphone to get Android 2.3 OS Gingerbread update at the End of May 2011.

On the other hand, at about the same time Samsung India also confirmed in twitter that Samsung Galaxy SL owners who live in India also will get Android 2.3 Gingerbread update around first or second week of July.
