Firefox 4 Beta For Maemo and Android Gets Update to Beta 3, What’s New??

Mozilla Firefox is one of the most popular web browser today, with Firefox browser, people can easily browsing web pages, bookmark pages, organize bookmarks, etc. Today, Firefox 4 beta 3 has released by Mozilla team. There are some improvements and bugs fixed in this update.

So what’s new in Firefox 4 Beta 3 for Maemo and Android :

    • Improved support for Android keyboards, both hardware and on-screen
    • New Android-style menus
    • Fixed a bug in opening links from other apps
    • Support for uploading files
    • “Save as PDF” command in the site menu
    • Fixed rendering of Arabic and Farsi text (on devices with Arabic/Farsi fonts installed)

    • Support for custom Firefox Sync servers

For your information, Firefox 4 Beta is available for Android 2.0 and higher, and for the Nokia N900. Firefox 4 Beta 3 requires around 17 MB of storage. Android 2.2 users can move Firefox to the SD card using Android’s Settings app.
