Firmware v30.0.002 For the Nokia 5250 Officially Released

Besides releasing new firmware for the Nokia E5, Nokia team recently also has officially released new firmware, v30.0.002 for the Nokia 5250 smartphone (Nokia S60v5 Edition).

The update brings some new features, General performance and usability improvements.

Here’s the official changelog of Nokia 5250 v30.0.002 ;

  • New, faster version of the web browser, including web search integrated into the web address field, and support for multiple windows
  • Big clock feature, displaying the time and date when you press the menu key, if the screen and keys are locked
  • Emoticons can be used in text and multimedia messages
  • Updated Music player with folder playlists
  • Ovi Contacts removed

As always, you can update your Nokia Nokia E72 firmware via OTA (Over the air) or you can also use Nokia’s Software Updater or Ovi Suite and make sure to back up all of your important data before you update your firmware to this new one.
