Google Inc has just released the latest version of Google Translate app for Android devices. The latest version of this app comes with 2 additional features, such as text-to-speech and translation to alpha languages.

Here’s the official changelog for Google Translate app v2.1 for Android devices!

Google Translate v2.1 adds:

  1. Text-to-speech(TTS) for Arabic, Korean and Japanese and improved TTS for several other languages
  2. Translation to alpha languages: Armenian, Azerbaijani, Basque, Georgian, Latin, Urdu

The latest version of Google Translate app for Android devices, v2.1 can be downloaded for free from the Android Market. It requires Android 1.5 or higher.
