Qt SDK 1.1 Release Candidate (RC) Officially Released, What’s New??

The developer of Qt SDK has just announced that the latest version of Qt SDK has officially released.

The latest version of this software, v1.1 Release Candidate brings some improvements and various minor bugs fixes. With this final Qt SDK, application developers who develop Qt 4.7 based-apps also can submit their apps to the Ovi Store.

Here are what’s new in Qt SDK 1.1 Release Candidate ;

  • Qt 4.7.3 is included for Desktop and Symbian
  • Update to Qt Mobility 1.1.2
  • Qt Assistant added as separate package (due to developer request)
  • Installer can use system proxy on Linux
  • Notification API moved from experimental to “Additional APIs”
  • Several fixes for the Qt Simulator
  • Several fixes for the installation/updating workflow

Important Note : Qt 4.7 will not be supported for S60v3 Edition.
