Samsung to Launch 3 New Bada-Based Smartphone This Year (2011)

Samsung has announced in press conference yesterday regarding their plan to promote & launch the latest Bada OS, Bada 2.0 and the latest Wave series smartphone in 2011.

According to French Samsung Vice President, David Eberle, Samsung will launch 3 new Bada-based smartphone in 2011. The first is Samsung Wave 578 which has been introduced previously and two others smartphones that do not yet have a name but almost certainly running at the latest Bada OS, Bada 2.0.

As you can see in the image below, Samsung Wave 578 running at Bada 1.1 OS and has 3.2 inch WQVGA touchscreen display, 3 MP camera, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The Wave 578 is scheduled to be released on June 2011.

The first Bada-based smartphone that do not yet have a name runs Bada 2.0 OS and ithas 3.65″ display size, 5 MP rear camera and VGA front camera, Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi. This smartphone is scheduled to be released on September 2011. While the second Bada-based smartphone also runs on Bada 2.0 OS and equipped with 3.14″ display size, 3 MP camera, Bluetooth 2.0 and Wi-Fi. This smartphone is scheduled to be released on November 2011.
