Verizon to Launch Samsung Droid Charge at April, 28 for $300 – Runs Android 2.2 Froyo with 1 GHz Processor

Verizon and Samsung reportedly will launch the latest smartphone called “Samsung Droid Charge” with Verizon’s 4G/LTE support at April, 28 2011 via Verizon Wireless Communications Stores and online in www.verizonwireless.com for $299 with 2 year contract.

The Samsung Droid Charge is an Android-based smartphone and will be Verizon’s second LTE handset. It runs Android 2.2 OS aka Froyo and powered by 1 GHz single-core processor.

This smartphone has 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Plus Display and also equipped with dual camera (8 MP rear camera and 1.3 MP front camera) and HTML 5 web browser.
