LG and Verizon have just announced via press release that the 4G LTE LG Revolution smartphone go on sale starting today May, 26 2011 in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores for $249.99 with contract. LG Revolution smartphone as we might already know runs Android 2.2 OS Froyo and reportedly will receive Gingerbread update at the end of this year and powered by 1GHz processor.

This smartphone also comes with 4G LTE technology where customers can expect download speeds of 5 to 12 Mbps and upload speeds of 2 to 5 Mbps in 4G Mobile Broadband coverage areas, 4.3 inches TFT capacitive touchscreen with 480 x 800 pixels of resolution, dual camera (5 MP rear camera autofocus with LED flash and 1.3 MP front camera), 16 GB storage, and microSD up to 32GB.

Other features of the LG Revolution include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP, EDR, microUSB v2.0, A-GPS support, 720p HD video recording and playback, Digital compass, HDMI port and combined with Li-Ion 1500 mAh battery.
